Independent Color Calibration/ ICC Profiles for dual Monitor setup

Thread Starter
Is it possible to use two different color calibrations or even ICC profiles when using two different monitors? In my specific case my gaming PC doubles as a HTPC. I have my main monitor on my desk via Displayport, while running a 47" TV via HDMI. The color calibration using an ICC profile is perfect on my gaming monitor, however movies and games appear way too dark on my TV.

Is it possible to calibrate each monitor independently from within Windows or even use two separate ICC profiles? If so, how do I do that?

Thanks in advance for your input! thumb.gif

You can use software and a hardware puck. The software will create a profile for each monitor that is loaded when you boot. All software may not do this so you will need to read the software specs.

One that I know will do it is Color Eyes Display Pro, but make sure that it will work on you TV.

For the hardware puck I use a Spyder 4. I think the Spyder 5 is out now. The Xrite i1Display Pro is another one.

Be aware that this stuff is not cheap, but in my opinion the results are well worth the money.
