Hello Guys
I want to go 2011 V3

And I need to choose 6800K or 6850K Or 5930K I hop all of them is 2011 v3 socket r?

And i had plan to buy 5930k but i saw this new processors 6800k and 6850k

Plz can you tell me the differents and which one is better?

If you have the 6850K for consideration, the other two become useless as the 6850K is the new 5930K while the 6800K lacks PCIE lanes. If you want the current cheapest X99 option that is latest, the 6850K is what I'd consider.

What I want to know is the OC speeds with AIO for both 5930k and 6850k

bw-e is ~10% faster in IPC right

Reviews seem to suggest 5-10% at best, in some instances not that much difference.

The number of available reviews is quite low but so far BW-e seems to need more vcore than Haswell-e so for AIO your probably going to find that, on average, you'll get a higher overclock on Haswell-e. But evidently that's silicon lottery will play a part.

As a side note, you could consider a 5820k with a motherboard that has PLX chips providing additional PCIE lanes such as the Asus X99-e ws, although it depends on your intended use...

I am gonna use 2X GTX 1080 atm. and future 1080 TI

So + i want overclock im using costume water cooling system with 2x RX360 radiator.

So I need to chose than 6850K or 5930k right?

so which i buy?

Im goona buy Fatal1ty X99 Professional motherboard

Either would be fine, both are 40 lanes, it depends on the price and if you prefer newer. Overall the 6850 will probably be slightly faster at stock, the 5930 will probably be faster overclocked.

Are you going to overclock?

A bit but i think not for 24/7

Well the 5930 is probably a better 'bang for buck' but the 6850 is newer and, it seems, uses slightly less power, so it's up to you...

I'm in the same conundrum weighing the 5930k vs the 6850k for a new build. Since I'm going full custom loop I'm leaning towards the 5930k since I should, lottery willing, be able to get a higher clock on it and nullify the higher ipc of the 6850k. I think if I were going with a smaller AIO water cooler or putting it on air I'd opt for the 6850k.

Definitely get the 5930K it's cheaper and you can run it as fast as the 6850k without too much overclocking, I run one 5930k at 4.5mhz 24x7 easily and it actually goes higher than 4.6 with a little more voltage. You are using a custom loop with 1080s which does not produce too much heat using 720mm worth of radiator. I can't say what the 1080ti will do for heat though but I imagine it's not much because it's the same GPU lower power family.

Getting the 5930k instead will give you the option to overclock higher than the 6850k later if you choose.

I was actually tossing around the idea of selling my brand new 5930k to get a 6850k myself but after reading that it tops off at around 4.2MHZ that made up my mind quickly. I want to run at least 4.5MHz for 24x7.
