I believe the reviews come out on 6/15, they better not blow it this time.

Are you really gonna trust random people who have been given the mouse early? I mean it's hard enough to trust people outside OCN regardless, but I'd be really surprised if any of the people FM give a mouse to will actually talk about the inevitable bad build quality or dive into whether they screwed up and added smoothing and such.

if the PCB is any good and the firmware feature is a success, it could be interesting

That is true. I do hope they gave samples to some members here considering the members here are more likely to be appreciative of the custom fw, PCB switch, click-feel etc.

If they gave any good reviewer on OCN the mouse, they would get a richt gid roasting if it didn't turn out to be 'perfect' due to them having delays after delays after delays after delays after delays after delays... you get the point.

part of it is because more established companies don't announce until things are nearly 100% ready

Why?

So Razer can screw it up again with their crap Synapse? It's retarded, it would've been my main mouse until a decently shaped 3360 hit the market, but alas, can't even run 800/900 dpi without Synapse.

FYI

Anyhow, I got my eyes on the Scream and Desolator. But if the latter has a decent implementation/good enough button latency, ... I reckon i'll end up using the Desolator as my main. In fact, if Nixues succeeds where others failed, I might even order a stash and sell everything else I got biggrin.gif

I was quite surprised that I could save custom dpi values on the Diamondback Chroma. That's pretty sad in my opinion.
