Let's Compile all 3360/3366 and their release dates for everyone - Page 25

I mean, if he were under some sort of NDA he wouldn't be commenting about the matter to begin with. It only makes people think the 3660 is inferior to the 3366 so Logitech would want him talking about it and the other companies would be angry he brought up the subject at all.

i found out what i know about the 3360 through my own research.

and you can too, just get a m65pro (not recommending it though, it's a terrible terrible mouse. honestly worst mouse i ever touched.)

edit: oh wait rival700 is on amazon now. also a brick but in comparison to m65pro i would assume it's at least usable.

If this is just voluntary to see if "people notice a difference" it seems like kind of an odd thing to do. Obviously people here are gaming enthusiasts and want to make purchases with the best possible information.

Imo if you have information to share about shortcomings, I would hazard a guess that 99.9% of people here would be in favor of you sharing that information so they can make an informed decision on whether to buy these upcoming mice rather than the "fun" factor of figuring out these shortcomings by spending their hard-earned money. I would certainly rather know ahead of time.

that's a good point, so i'll just say that the people affected by "it" mostly are not the enthusiasts here anyway so even if you knew, it should in no way affect your decision of whether to purchase a 3360 mouse.

So what, something's screwy at higher DPI settings I'm guessing, like is it not actually 12000 DPI and just interpolates above a certain point? I can't really think of much else that would only affect people outside OCN.

We have to wait for some 3360 I guess wink.gif @ qsxcv one question, do you consider 3360 to be a better choice in terms of tracking/feeling/precision/consistency comparing to e.g 3310 or 3988 if I use 400-800 dpi only ?
Don't need some star wars 10k dpi shenanigans.

if you're asking me to base that solely off personal experience, unfortunately, like most of you, i have yet to use 3360 in a suitable shape. otherwise, i'd say probably.

They did the 3988 thing where higher dpi=more smoothing built into the SROM?
And from qsxcv's posts I get the idea they might have put more smoothing than the 3366 has, even at low DPI.

Wait, what?

What G100/G303 refresh? There is or will be a refresh of those?!
Have I missed something or is this some kind of joke which I do not get due to me desperately wanting it to be true?
