You probably shouldn't have said anything.

People are going to be buying mice with it expecting something wrong, or even worse claiming that it's "off" or feels bad for no good reason other than a "feeling" because of the negative bias they've developed.

Personally I don't care if you tell us or not, if it's something that won't affect all of us or could be changed so it wouldn't I've no reason not to take your word for it, I just want a good sensor in a large-ish shape that's still relatively light, at the end of the day.

He said something about malfunction speed. Perhaps the 3360 it's malfunction speed is fubar beyond a certain dpi range. But alas, as that wouldn't bother anyone using 400/800/1600 dpi.

Um, that was bound to happen anyway. I said long ago as soon as the 3360 train really gets rolling people would claim it doesn't "feel" as good as the 3366. This was w/o any technical backing/testing, just common sense of how this forum operates. Lets not forgot how the 3310 was basically looked at (by some) as a modern "god tier" sensor before the 3366 hit the market. You see those same people "refusing" to settle for such garbage now. In other words, the #3360Curse lives on, as of present. It'll get the same "well, it's good enough..." treatment as the 3310.

perhaps, but if i said nothing people would just assume it's completely equivalent to 3366 so that applies both ways

yea given how much fuss this has generated i should have waited until many people had a 3360 mice before bringing this up

[full damage control mode]
maybe i'm just lying and there isn't actually anything wrong with 3360, and i just wanted to see how people would think of it if they didn't simply assume that it's holy grail of sensors
or maybe i'm not

k i'll stop now lol

The dream of some random crap factory producing anything on par with Logitech is still alive!
