HAVIT HV-MS735 (Magic Eagle)

https://www.prohavit.com/products/hv-ms735-gaming-mouse/

I bought it on impulse because it was so cheap. Sensor isn't listed among the specs, so I posted a question in discussions.

Hi Andreas, Yes, it is Pixart 3360 sensor, and there's 14g of extra weight inside, but cannot be adjusted. Regards, HAVIT Support Team

And the award for the first usable and affordable 3360 mouse goes to... HAVIT. So funny.

That's actually cheap enough I would have grabbed it for the heck of it if not for the MMO design. Also what on earth is the point of creating software but only allowing you to choose between limited DPI settings anyway? And why 500Hz.

Software actually allows you to set each DPI step to be whatever you want, 100-12000 in increments of 100. It does 1000 Hz as well. The software has pretty poor usability though.

I am tempted to do so, to remove the extra weights if possible.

Oh, they should use a different image then since it makes it seem like there are just 7 settings in the software and you just choose which ones to turn on/off. BTW since you have the mouse, do you know how to test for smoothing using mousetester? I'm curious if it has added MCU smoothing or whatever.

I don't know how. I have got the software though, I could give it a try. Could you care to explain, or point me to a thread that does? smile.gif

That design is horrible for ergonomics.

Some people thought the G303 would be horrible for ergonomics. Then they tried it and it wasn't as bad as they thought it would be.

i.e. Me tongue.gif

Still prefer other shapes, though

You don't really hold the G303 but with fingers, no palm etc. so no issue there apart from tiny mouse for big hands is a no no, cramps after a few months. I've tried a similar shape as this weirdo mouse, ergonomic but narrow, hell no, one of the worst mice I've ever used.
