Was there something about 3360 not being as good as the 3366? I think someone in this thread was hinting at it, but wouldn't say what it was because they wanted to see how many people noticed it. What was the problem, in the end?

There were MouseTester plots in another thread demonstrating this and @qsxcv confirmed that was the difference he was talking about.

I think it was 32 frames of smoothing on anything over 2000 CPI. I think that's about 4ms of smoothing, which is about the same as the 3310 without any firmware added smoothing. Don't quote me on that, I'm probably wrong.

In other words, no problems with smoothing or otherwise as long as you stay below that?

Correct, 32 frames at >=2100 CPI.

I messed up my maths in my last post. I was basing it off of the 3320's 4 frame or 0.8ms smoothing.

32 / 4 = 8

8 x 0.8 = 6.4ms of smoothing

Am I right in saying that?

I'm probably not the person you should ask about that, this is a job for someone else like uaok, wareya, or q. thumb.gif

It is a shame that the g303 has the most awkward shape. The g502 would have been perfect for me if it wasn't for that full metal mousewheel and the overall way too heavy weight of the mouse.

Then Steelseries disappointed us with the Rival 700.

I don't get mouse companies. It is almost like they don't want us to be happy by ******* something essential up in an otherwise good mouse.

I really hope Zowie will bring out their 3360 mouse soon, with omron switches. That will be golden then. (EC-3A or something)

Isn't the 3366 the same as the 3360 but logitech's branded version of it?
