Saitek is changing up it's Mad Catz Rat Lineup: madcatz.com/gamechanging/

New boring black and red color scheme.
RAT 1 has it's sensor downgraded.
Rat 4 PMW3310
RAT 6 ADNS9800, heavy aluminum brick weight
RAT 8, PMWtwee twee sixtee, also heavy aluminum brick weight
RAT PRO S, PMWtwee twee turtee, 80g
RAT PRO X, color scheme update, tweetweesixtee is the default sensor module now

Same niche shape that you either hate or like.

Is there even a single 3360 that doesnt have Sensei shape?

Is there one that doesnt have 12000 max dpi and a shape somewhere close to the g400?

Uh the sensor is capable of 12,000 dpi so I'd say all of them have that? o_o

The rival 700 is a non-sensei shape, and all of logitechs 3366's are non logitech shapes.. can't say any are near the g400.. but the sensor in the g400s is really good anyway

you got ninja'd by 5 hours

wait, $200? upsidedwnsmiley.gif
but why
also, wth is "precision aim", a sniper button?
analogue strafe???
man their mice are so dumb

and does anyone have a good reason for the swappable sensor feature?

Funny thing about the Pro X(at least the older one). Those $20 sensor modules? You could actually consider that the mouse. The $180 shell part supplies power and routes the wires to the appropriate buttons.

I'm pretty sure when Mad Catz are designing a mouse, they make it out of the parts of at least 15 other mice in order to save money or something

That mouse wheel just looks plain painful. Also this thing looks like it would take flight if you threw it hard into a stiff breeze.

More like 1.5kg tongue.gif

Same as that small Corsair M65 these tiny mice are very heavy. It looks ... on pictures but playing with it is difficult for anything but small hands, finger tipping etc. and actually being ok with the heavy weight at the same time, nope.
