The Magicool MCP180 Pump/Res Combo can go horizontally, check bluehandstech's NCase M1 build.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I checked the resellers - the MMRS seems to be only available in the US. Have to think about it because with customs and shipping it would cost quite a bit.

The Magicool looks good but I was planning to use a D5 pump.

If I use a bay res, I would place it like this: https://martinsliquidlab.wordpress.com/2012/02/20/danger-den-torture-rack-lan-party-rebuild/

Googling 'watercooling horizontal reservoir' may give interesting results too.

Thought about it too...have to read into that reservoir - thanks!

EKWB replied and said their reservoir can be placed horizontally. I don't like the placement of the ports though. I saw some alternative tops that I will check out later.

It's good to know that EK res can go horizontal. I don't know why the EU is being so slow picking up the MMRS stuff, it's not like Boxgods hasn't tried. What about the XSPC Photon? I know that one can go horizontal no problem.

Yes - I was really considering the MMRS. I finally decided to send back the EK XRES D5 combo and go for a separate EK RES X4 and a EK D5 pump. The new RES X4 has a better port layout for horizontal placement and with a seperate pump I have more options in my small case.

Sounds good!
Would be nice to see some pics of your finished build, in the SFF sub forum for instance!
