Hey, I saw that you used a 420 rad on top, it's the CE 420 and it has a length of 460mm. Do you think a Phobya G Changer would fit too? It has a length of 466mm?

I hope you have an answer for me, I wanna buy my 303 next week!

Hi, I just refreshed my i7 rig (haswell) to a Ryzen 7 and a big colour change!

I definitely wouldn't count on it - the CE420 was already a tight fit already. The CE just felt like the perfect fit

I know that there is an In Win employee reading here every once in a while, so I've got a direct question, even if I think that it has already been brought up a few times:

Why do you guys not use rubber grommets? It would be so much cleaner with only a very minor impact on production-costs. I would even love to be able to buy them seperately.
The 303C has no rubber grommets again...... Just..... Why?

Apparently they're not a fan of grommets biggrin.gif My 901 neither have any.

I simply do not understand it. No matter how expensive your case is (and In Win tends to be pretty pricey except for our lovely 303 for example) they won't even give you the option to use rubber grommets.
They could just send them as an accessoire for the customer to have the option, but no....

There are several reasons as to why we don't use rubber grommets. First off, it's important to know that we design and manufacture our products and we place a lot of emphasis in our quality. The purpose of the grommets is to make sure that sharp edges don't cause any damage. We have confidence in our quality control so in the end, the grommets aren't necessary. They are an extra cost that isn't necessary.

That said, we do take all feedback into account, and this will be forwarded to our R&D department for future product consideration.

I also don't see the point about lamenting the absence of rubber grommets, especially in a great value chassis like the 303 is. Your response is spot on! As long as the metal cutouts have good quality rounded edges rubber grommets aren't necessary. If the cutouts are also placed with a sensible layout the grommets don't even help hiding the cables behind them. Please don't become like all the others case manufacturers filling their enclosures with not functional stuff that disproportionally drive up cost (and margins). Peace smile.gif

The thing is, for me, rubber grommets are also a good thing to better hide your cables. There is a reason why all the rubber grommets other manufacturers use not only go over the metal edges, but also reach inside.
Right now I can clearly see the backside of my 303 through the cutouts with the cables behind it, which would definitely look better with grommets. Then there also is for example the large cutout below the motherboard when using an mATX-Board, which is definitely great for cable-management, but it would simply look better with a grommet than just having this huge gaping hole down there for only 3 cables. A grommet would just hide the not so beautiful cutouts better. And let's be honest. I personally have not seen any case, even pretty cheap ones, with cutouts that had sharp enough edges to cut myself at or the cables that I route through them.

Long story short: Rubber grommets simply look better than naked holes.

If you at In Win do not think that it's necessary, you definitely have your reasons and of course way more experience than I have at what you do (and you mainly do a great job at it by the way ^^) but I would love to have the option. Maybe you could consider to offer sets of rubber grommets seperately for maybe 10€ or something like that. I would definitely love it smile.gif
