There's about 480mm clearance and certainly enough width available - just watch the dimensions of whatever you are considering. I expect most 420s that are not too thick would fit as the width and length are pretty accommodating.

I'm running a Hardware Labs GTS X-Flow 420 up top (467mm). Drilled about 8 holes for it.

Update: I got the MLs and I replaced the top 3 140mm Vardars with these as a start.

So while the MLs lack the bearing noise the Vardars make.. they have an annoying sort of ticking motor noise that remains almost regardless of RPM. I noticed the MLs can run faster at the same noise-level but the cooling is the same despite their higher RPM (measured after tuning the RPM and running Valley 4x before/after +9.8C vs +9.9C water over ambient).

I need to replace all to make proper comparison.. but it's currently leaning towards keeping the Vardars. My guess is their noise in general is in a less sensitive frequency range than the MLs. May try the Silent Wings 3 now as well just to see which subjectively sounds best because they're all pretty much the same in objective tests.

Little update from my side as my sleeved cables finally arrived after having to wait about 1,5 months for them to ship.....
But I can't wait to upgrade to a Ryzen 1600 in a few weeks with an mATX motherboard as especially the lowest cutout is just extremely crammed with cables and mATX should make this alot easier, as well as cable management behind the motherboard tray as that's currently a mess too. I also have to wrap my SSD's in some nice foils in the future as plain white looks a bit too boring for me ^^
Apart from hat I am also going to be changing the chassis fans to some Cryorig QF120 as I want to go for a black/white scheme with my Ryzen build and as you can see, my white fans slightly changed color over the years with the one in the middle really standing out. I might only change the top/rear fans to Cryorig's and will maybe keep the white Bitfenix fans and just put them in the bottom were you can't really see the color fading that much.
By the way, I used those 3 fans for about 4 years without being a smoker or something like that and I am wondering if that color change is normal? The fan on my Cpu-cooler also changed in color to a more yellow tint but that one was only in use since last August. Do you also have such experiences?

Hey Guys here's my 303 Build i finished early this year, just after some recommendations on the cable management of the white cables (i don't feel like they look right the way they are), especially to the GPU.

I essentially just used most my parts from my first build and upgraded a few things here and there along with the case, went with a white sort of theme with what i had and what i wanted to spend.
Build List is as follows:

Case - InWin 303 White
Motherboard - ASUS Maximus VI Extreme
CPU - i7 4770
GPU - ASUS Dual Fan GTX 1060 3gb
Memory - 16GB DDR3 G.Skill Ripjaws X (I custom painted them white)
CPU Cooler - Deepcool Gamer Storm Captain 120EX AIO Liquid Cooling White
Hard Drive - 1TB Seagate Barracuda
SSD - Kingston 240GB SSD
Cables - Phanteks Sleeved Cable Extension Kit White
Fans - 7 X Thermaltake Riing 12 High Static Pressure 120mm White LED Fan's
LED's - Deepcool RGB Colour LED 360 Strip Lighting Kit With Remote

I run not filters ever and only end up cleaning some dust off twice a year.

There's is one config which I still consider that could work very well: run a 420+120 and have 3 fans at the bottom for intake. I sort of suspect this could even beat the 420+360 setup with way more cold air being blown in and a more directed airflow. Anyway my white rad at the bottom looks pretty good IMO, especially now that I covered the bottom of the case with black sound insulation material that makes the rad 'float' (+block air coming back in)

Regarding the quiet path.. yes you'll end up moving down the chain.. for me it went GPU card noise > fan noise > AIO pump noise > PSU noise > fan bearing noise is now the loudest thing subjectively - but it's absolutely fine - at day time I don't really hear the PC. I'm going to try the Silent Wings 3 & Corsair MLs soon to see if that could improve it. With this InWIn 303 build, I went with a much quieter PSU as it was the loudest thing in my Define S build when over 250W load.. the Corsair RM650x and 550x that I have now are both extremely quiet while still not Seasonic Prime expensive :-)

Your parallel GPU/CPU idea should be completely fine thermally - it will even help reduce the overall loop flow restriction. Water only varies 1-2C in the whole loop and the waterblocks don't need much flow to operate as water has such high capacity for holding heat.. so even if one gets more flow than the other.. it still will do it's job totally fine. I may do this as well in the future. I saw Jays 2 cents Phanteks Enthoo Evolv build.. and that looked very cool.

edit I've ordered a set of 120mm and 140mm ML fans so I'll try bottom intake variation as well.

Hi, really nice build! I've got one question: Do you run with bottom exaust and top exaust? I've got, in my current system with a Define R5, one 360 at the top and one 240 at the front, both exausting the hot air. Works pretty well with one fan at the rear and bottom taking in cold air.

If you're not exausting at top and bottom, do you think that this could work? Or will both radiators choke each other?

And another one: Is that an Alphacool xflow 420 at the top?

greetz!

Update: Installed the GPU Bracket to stop the card sagging, even though its not as long as some it was starting to, also fixed up the cable combs a little. Anyone have any suggestions to clean the build up a bit?

*sorry for bad quality pics - had to transfer them over Facebook... *

Hi guys, have some question before buying the 303.

1. Does the NZXT HUE+ works with Corsair HD120 fans?

2. If it doesnt, what else can I buy for controlling HD120 with RGB lighting strips all sync together?

Thank you. I actually ran a Define S with a similar setup 420 top + 280 bottom before this. It worked really well in that case - much better than in the 303.
If you're not exhausting top+bottom.. well the thing is that the exhausted air from a rad is within 1-3 degrees C from the water temperature.. so if all of the intake air comes through there I expect that the next rad that runs of that exhaust is most likely not even contributing to cooling, or certainly minimal. On the positive side, a good airflow path helps lower temperatures - which you would get running say bottom intake and top exhaust.

I'll test it one day... the 3 combinations would for the 303 would be: 360 in + 420 out // 420 + 120 rear out, or in // 360 + 420 out). I've got my soft-tube setup in another system.. no easy testing with the hard tube setup in this one
.
The rad is a HW Labs GTS XFlow radiator by the way.

Thanks for your answers! Do you think a 477mm rad will fit at the top? Your GTS Xflow is hard to get here in germany and the only real alternative is an Alphacool Xflow. The GTS is 467mm, taken from one of your posts above, and the Alphacool is 477mm...so what do you think?

I ordered the 303 today and gonna try my current rads in the case with top and bottom exaust and will compare the temperatures to my current ones.
