Hi!

Do you mind sharing a picture of the case from the top? wondering how it looks. Also is the filter fixed in place or?

P.S Ah sorry for the double post. dont really know how to delete the other post.

I really hope we start seeing more cases that support vertical mounting of GPU's like that... with a block on your GPU it really is the only way it should be seen IMO.

Cost is the number one reason for the lack of this. To mount a gpu vertically you'd need to have a very high quality pci ribbon, a good one costs $50 alone, they'd have to add that to the cost of the case and more buyers will be shunned away from it. I agree, if you have a waterblock mounting it in this orientation looks great.

I'll snap one later, I'm not using the dust bracket, I clean my pc out once a week so dust is never an issue.

Hello! biggrin.gif

Alot of beautiful builds here, wish i had the skill to set up some of those nice loops, but currently i am considering upgrading to inwin 303 from the in win 901. The parts i have in that buil is:
- GPU: GTX 690
- CPU: i5-4690k
- MOBO: ASROCK z97-e
- PSU: Coolermaster v 850w
- RAM: 2x8gb Corsair Dominator
- HDD: Seagate 1TB and Samsung SSD 250GB
- AIO: Corsair H80i

My question is, would these parts be a good to build in the 303? My budget is abit low, but any recommendation what parts to switch out would be nice, and how or where should the h80i rad be mounted, how many fans are needed and which should be for intake and exhaust. Thanks in advance.

I don't see why your parts are not good enough. The only thing I can see an upgrade in is your GPU. If you really want some budget stuff then the new GTX 1060 would be perfect in that system as it only cost about $250-$300 depend on model. Or if you have $150-$200 more than I highly recommend a GTX 1070. I'm running an Asus ROG Strix O8G GTX 1070 and never drop below 100FPS in GTA5 with every setting max out.

PS: FXformat I can't wait to move to my new house and have a separate gaming room. I'm planning on building some custom desk with the Ikea Linnon top. Though my set up will probably never look as good as you. I don't have the patient to hide all my cables lol.

Thanks for the answer, but how should i setup the AIO and the fans for best performance?

You need to factor in overall case pressure, with positive being optimal to prevent dust build-up. Negative pressure is not desirable and will cause dust to build-up inside your case. This is not a good thing, obviously. In order to create positive pressure, you basically need to have more intake than outtake. That doesn't necessarily mean more intake than outtake fans (although if often does), but overall more air being brought in than out, which could be achieved by an RPM balance in favour of that. To the layman, this may sound illogical, "won't that just bring in loads of dust"... well yes it would if you didn't have filters on the fan intake vents (so that's essential), but the net result is you create positive pressure INSIDE the case which forces air out... therefore no dust!

Cheers! much appreciated. this will let me determine whether i go for the inwin 303 or corsair carbide 600c, if only they came in white frown.gif . If you have the dust filter lying around near you, could you take a photo of it on to? only if its lying in reach dont want to trouble you.

Ok, thank you!
Then i gonna stick with two 360mm rad, as i see there is no limitation for that setup.
