Oh look! An AMD delay after ludicrous claims about performance vs. Intel. Reminds me of the Bulldozer launch.. Was intending to wait for this for my next computer. Nah, getting a 6500K instead.

Nobody should wait for Zen. It wont be any better than Skylake anyway.
The only reason to wait would be because your CPU is already powerful enough for your needs. But even then the surprise with Zen will be pretty meh since it wont offer anything better than whats already out on the market

The CPU market is pretty boring and have been for many many years

Wasn't Zen slated for a November release? If that's the case I don't see a January release that much of a big delay it's just 2 months.

I can't support Intel anymore on a moral basis, as a consumer. Supporting Intel any further is a vote to continue this stagnant, overpriced market. Even if AMD isn't fully competitive with Skylake/Broadwell-E/Kaby performance wise, I'm still hoping they are price wise.

Zen or nothing for the foreseeable future.

Exactly this for me. So many things i need to buy this year. I really want a Zen CPU and a Vega GPU in a new rig. But I still need a new car, and new front fork for my mountain bike. Just need more time and money now hehe :-P
