This may be in another thread I haven't found. The issue now seems to be MS manipulative - some say abusive - steps to force or sneak an auto upgrade to W10 from W7. There are SCADS, TONS, BUNCHES of posts, threads, blogs, exposees out there.
I'm not interested in any arguments "why don't you just accept W10 it's not so bad, it's more better than 7, it's inevitable anyway, what are you stupid?" Let's say any particular user - stupid or reactionary or not - wants or needs to stay in W7. For their own reasons. Any experience on Overclock.net on making that work? This week anyway before MS creates another hidden forced upgrade.
It does make one think about OS X or Linnux, just to avoid manipulation by the evil empire. But the re-investment, re-configuration, re-learning is probably more burdensome than adjusting to W10. The point is we shouldn't be forced to waste resources on either one.
