If someone wants to but 4 1080gtx gpus for the sole purpose of 3dmark thats his/her perogative. However by all means continue to jump all over someone who has more than two 1080gtx's. It just makes them seem inferior about thier own setup.

It's rather obvious Nvidia backtracked on what they said AFTER launch. I realize that doesn't matter for them it's more important to attack people who bought more than two.

Edited out You for them, didn't mean to make it sound like person i qouted was being called out

lol I get that all the time, people saying waste of money or worse. I couldn't even post the stuff people have called me just for owning more cards than the next guy. Mind you I got the same thing just recently regarding my 6950X purchase. It's amazing how hostile and insecure people can be about a piece of silicon.

I wouldn't believe a word Nvidia's says anymore.....like the GTX 1080 @ 2100Mhz core on air cooling @ 60c during the demonstration in a very hot texas. My first thoughts even then was BS.....and it's clear it was afterall.

A month ago we had engineering saying that 3/4-way wasn't being worked on and marketing saying you need to use an enthusiast key. I leaned towards believing the guys who were actually not working on it. I dunno what marketing was smoking.
