They are doing the right things to move the game forward. 1.2 alone made grinding worthwhile and feel rewarding. The HVT and search and destroy give you something to do in the world without needing to go into the darkzone. Its not perfect but no game is. Its a loot centered online game so balancing everything to the right point will take some time. I don't play super often anymore, mostly because I have a 7day old baby but the game is still fun and I believe it will only get better. Look at how long it took destiny to get its self together. The division is making strides much faster.

I feel bad for the people who purchased this game and the season pass and were disappointed in it. I know a lot of friends who went to this and abandoned Destiny... then when the April updates hit for both games it was clear who the winner was.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. Hopefully, this is also some progress from the new director and he's taking a harder stance against cheaters than in Planetside 2.

It`s way to late, they let the cheaters do whatever for 3 months, now the game is dead.
Also they should make the cheaters information public, why ? Because F them thatswhy.

Honestly, I'm not sure if this is enough to bring me back. It's a start though and we do have to acknowledge this as a step in the right direction. People are too willing to blame devs and say 'you should have done it sooner'... the process to make this happen is not quick, and certainly not easy. To me, this at least shows they're trying.

I'll be the odd one out here and say that I still enjoy playing this game after 350+ hours, both the pve and pvp aspects.

With that said, pvp is no fun when your enemy is able to land every shot on your head as you roll, so its nice that they finally get what they deserve, and if they would like to play again just to get banned again they can go buy another copy just like everyone else does for GTAV and CSGO.

I concur, as does my insatiable hunger for beating a cheaters face. I have many skii masks. thumb.gif

I did a quick roam of the Dark Zone after patch 1.2 landed. As I say, I stopped playing The Division because cheaters and better things came(like a new full playthrough of The Witcher 3 in preparation for Blood&Wine, or Xcom 2), I'm just a sucker for good stories. biggrin.gif

But it did seem a little less crowded.

I'll see myself out, no need to unleash the dogs.

Then never buy any online shooter. They all have hackers.

Anyone who stopped playing pre-1.2 patch should give the game another shot.
