I don't really care how you or cheaters feel about a TRULY and LITERAL permanent ban. It's a powerful deterrent, having a few rich cheaters be denied the opportunity to buy the game over and over again, and i'll certainly take it over what's been happening to games like CS:GO in the past 3-4 years.

Questioning is fine, as there is nothing wrong and it's actually perfectly normal to not see eye to eye on many issues. "Once a cheater always a cheater" is not some definitive statement that holds true. Some will cheat and continue, others will not, as they realize it's a mistake as this the most common way people learn and understand there past actions. There are hordes of people that have cheated at least once in online gaming. The stats whatever they are alone would mean a certain percentage of people here on OCN have used a cheat at least once in there life, although I doubt most have the balls to ever admit it.

Now let's tackle your next statement, "I don't really care how you or cheaters feel about a TRULY and LITERAL permanent ban" cause it's clear based on what you have said to me thus far, I have a better understanding of the situation than you do.

#1 Cheaters purchase there games at around 30-50% discount, and until recently they used to get them at a whopping 70% discount.
#2 Chronic cheaters don't care that there game account get's banned(they understand and fully take responsibility for the risks), they will just buy another copy. Common analogy they give is as long as they get a good solid month, it's cheaper than spending money going out for one night. So they don't care that they lost $30-45 aside from the few poor kids that used mommies credit card.
#3 You imply HWID as being a strong deterrent since it's implementation is a more permanent solution, however did you skip over the part where I mention cheats bypass the so-called deterrent you cling on by way of HWID spoofing made specifically for that game.

I'm sorry that my statements by way of messenger has caused a strong reaction, but don't confuse it with someone whom sympathizes with chronic cheaters. I'm simply trying to point out that HWID bans will only make a very little dent, it's cons outweigh it's pros . I've been PC gaming online since 1997 and cheating has become more prolific, and HWID bans systems from previous dev have all failed since the coders just circumvent it.

Getting a little off track here:
I would like to say one anti cheat company in the last year as turned around as being probably the most potentiate and effective mainstream AC to combat cheaters without resorting to HWID bans and that is "BattleEye" BE used to be a joke a few years back, but they are a completely different beast now. Most of the cheats sites have abandoned all development of Battleeye games, since they simply cannot defeat it. Battleeye from what I have been told is to think of it like a semi root kit. This makes it hard for the coders with there Ring 0 aka Kernel mode methods(a newer tactic that has recently been using to combat VAC, PB and EAC anti cheats). Even if someones cheats on a BE protected game they don't last more than 1 or 2 days.

H1Z1 and ARK evolved use to be nothing but a hackfest(more so H1Z1). Battleeye gets implemented and boom!!!!! There goes most the hackers. VAC, PB and some of the other minor ones are simply outdated anti cheats and in my personal opinion(not fact) I think Value purposelessly has gone easy with CS:GO for financial gain cause they know it's a closet hack fest and CS:GO cheaters love to buy account after account not to mention the money they spend on skins and operation missions etc......

You've been around here for a while, even when credentials are provided you are lead to 1 of 2 consequences.

Removal of posts due to presenting information about members that isnt public knowledge

Immediate rebuttal discrediting who issued the degree and/or how it doesnt relate to the subject matter.

All I can say, it seems a bit self defeating.

That would not be an unreasonable conclusion. Prime Account seems to be the best compromise between their (alleged) business model and player satisfaction. In just 3 days of Prime MM, my friends and i have seen 0 cheaters. It's a shame it took them 4 years to implement such a feature.

Prime just got out of beta, last I played CS:GO was 3 months ago when prime didn't even exist. For years VAC for CS:GO was a complete JOKE and considering the money Valve made and how little effort compared to other AC they made to combat the out of control cheating in CS:GO has to make you wonder. Also People have already found ways to have multiple smurf/hack accounts tied to unique numbers. None the less adding prime to CS:GO might actually make the game playable again in MM. It's a start and will reduce the # of cheaters encountered in MM since now you will be match only with prime members. I quit CS:GO due to the ridiculous number of closet cheaters, with there account profiles all padded using STEAM achievement manager and a pack of games all purchased for 3$ in an effort to make there account look legitimized. Love when they tell me they are smurfing, so I ask "why do you have Humble bundles games on the account and F2P with hours if it's just a smurf account for 1 game.

Seems like nobody is ever on...even on PS4. Game really tanked after all the issues they had with cheaters and their patches breaking the game.

Well they didn't even have the most basic anti cheat for the game when they first released it. The very fact that people were using Cheat Engine in the Division without any detection is a disgrace. In the End all Ubsoft cares about in the Console market. They already made record sales for the PC version, it's a done deal now.

I remember When I entered the dark zone, players that could unload there whole magazine in 1 sec, reload in less than 1 sec, move like the road runner and no clip through objects.

Don't forget the dodging into walls... that was a good one to see.

Tie account to the credit card named used to buy the game. Ban cardholder from purchasing game again, even if they use a different card. They... are banned.
