Thanks for the info, I only owned that one for about 8 hours before returning it. The Gloss coating was too much for me and couldn't figure out a good color setting on it. Good to know I dodged a bullet and spent nothing more than gas for driving to and from a microcenter.

To be honest, a glossy 4K monitor was exactly what i was looking for. I was ready to pull the trigger on the BDM4350, but at 20+ ms input lag and burn-in issues, i had to reconsider.

I would just sit on your PG278Q until Gsync and higher refresh rate 4k screens become available, personally I tried going back to a 60hz screen but oh my lord, I almost cried, 60hz is pretty much unsuable for me now the lag is unreal, I am waiting for ultrawide 100hz+ and gsync displays to be affordable.

I bought a Dell P2715Q
Which is 4k 27"

Image quality and colours are great.
I mainly use it for photography and I'm very happy with it.

However it's only 60hz and has no gsync or freesync.
Not flashy looking but decent build quality.
I'm perfectly happy playing games on it, but it's not a perfect gaming screen.

I don't think 4k gaming is really ready yet.
Refresh rates are too low and gsync screens are really expensive.
Plus gpu are only just fast enough for 4k.
I would stick to 1440p for games.

I only have a 970 so I can't play any new games at 4k but 1440p looks fine to me.

I have a Dell P2715Q as well. Went from a 24" 1080p to this.

Comes color calibrated from factory with its own graph to show you what they did and whatnot.

Looks awesome to me man works great.

I have to turn down some settings at 4k with 980ti but have no problems gaming with it. But I also have never had a top tier monitor so I would have no clue how much lag it really has.
