Philips BMD4350(IPS) for 43" 4K is a good value(800+you probably need to pay 50-150 for a better desk stand) and you can run it at 100%/125% scaling in desktop, but color was a bit lacking and it is gloss. make sure you have enough desk space to sit 60"+ from it otherwise you have to use peripheral vision a lot. I bought one from Microcenter, tried it for a few hours and returned it immediately. P.S Seems like it have burn-in issue as well.

No idea which one is good for 28", but you probably need even higher scaling to make the desktop work at 4K.

I plan on getting two of the, how is the colors and vibrancy on them? how are they for gaming?

Color and Vibrancy are quite good and I haven't had any trouble with latency while gaming with it(Armored Warfare/Starcraft 2).

Why is that?
That monitor is awesome, but 32" is too much for me

From a gaming prospective, i would rather have 1440/144 then 4k//60 . the performance cost of having a high end rig to keep stable framerates at 4k let alone a good monitor with low input lag is expensive. Now productivity wise 4k desktop space is bar non, thats the only reason i still have my korean 4k 39in monitor.

No problems for me.

I'm using a gigabyte 5p X99 board.

But I don't use sleep very often.

Haven't been playing much lately, just a few FIFA matches every once in a while

Using a macbook tough, i got accustomed to the Retina mode, so that's the main reason for me to buy a 4k monitor

4k = 1080p x 2 = Retina mode

5k would be even better, but those monitors cost too much indeed

So it's worse then the olded VA model?
Well, it's different. Both have their pros and cons, but i never heard of prolonged image retention on the BDM4060. So i assume it's -1 for the newer model.

Played a few game on Armored Warfare, I can comfortably hold 60 FPS @ Ultra setting with only 1650-1700 clock(I play with G-sync on), occasionally it dips to 52-55 FPS then boosts to 1850ish to clear that hurdle.

Default fan curve(Founders Edition) is conservative, card peaked at 85C a couple times b/c fan only maxed to 63%. I haven't done any tweaking with it yet.
