VAT, though is high. In the US, you have like between 5% to 10% sales tax. Sometimes NO tax online depending where the company is located.

Don't think that's true, Military spending on a yearly basis (maintenance, salaries etc) totals about 634 million a year now, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and Iraq alone are projected to cost over 2.4 trillion by the time we hit 2017. Adding up housing, community, social security, and medicare you're at about 2.7 trillion yearly. So yeah it's less, but hardly a "drop in the bucket" as you put it.

EDIT: That 2.4 trillion number is outdated, as of 2014 it's at 4.4 trillion

You declared? I know I never did, know tons of my friends/co-workers never did either. As far as gas costs to get over the bridge, that's pretty nominal, esp. since Soo, MI is pretty damn compact (Unless you were going to the Casino on the reservation).

The point is that wars are "discretionary." Social Programs are effectively law and the money HAS to be spent.

As to the point. Look at Europe, they spend peanuts on defense, yet they have sky-high taxes. It's the social programs that cause high taxes.

Don't want to derail the thread further but when people complain about US "wasting" money on foreign wars, they don't know what they're talking about when we have some of the lowest taxes.

Jokes aside. Do you think that lq companies are going to release waterblocks for this card? I hope they do, and they do somethig simple and fairly cheap.

They did for the HD 7870 and R9 285 so maybe they will.

So the £170 for 4GB could be correct?
