Also don't have $500 - 700 to spend on a CPU and ram to get that platform up and running even if I did win it, would rather what money I can spare go to the case and materials.
So it looks like I'll be skipping this competition, good luck to those that do qualify to enter.

You can always throw a Xeon in there for about $200 instead, cheaper if you snag something off Ebay. Won't be the highest running system, but it's all about the mod right?

Well, I took the leap and submitted my concept.

27th is just to be eligible for the build kit. You can register up until November 15th if you get the itch and decide to go ahead with it smile.gif

Just a reminder for anyone looking to win a build kit - you must upload concept photos! We have a large number of registered users who have yet to upload any photos - making them ineligible for the build kit.

So upload some pictures! biggrin.gif

If you have any questions feel free to ask or PM me!

Wait... So you have to have two Gigabyte product to enter? What you mean concept build? I can use my imaginary and make out with anything but with Gigabyte products on drawings?

Right now is the concept phase - so drawings of what you plan on building. The end build must include a GIGABYTE motherboard, graphics cards, and watercooling to win the grand prize.

You can submit your design (drawings) by today to be entered to win a motherboard, graphics cards, and CPU cooler... AKA all the necessary components for the final build.

The drawings don't have to be perfect. You don't have to be a photoshop master. Just show us what you want to build! Be creative, give it a shot! Here are some example concepts: http://www.modders-inc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/71-GIGABYTE-30th-Anniversary-Mod-Challenge
