The Toshiba OCZ RD400

Thread Starter
Hi folks,
I want to buy The Toshiba OCZ RD400 (http://ocz.com/us/ssd/rd400-ssd) when it is available in my country.

I have this motherboard: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8Z77V_LX/specifications/

The only PCIe 3.0 slot i have, is already occupied with my GPU. So if i buy the RD400, i have to install it on the " PCIe 2.0 x16 (x4 mode, black) " (Btw, I dont have an idea when it is x16 and when it is x4?)

On the specs page on RD400, it writes that it works on PCI-e 3.0

What i wanna ask is, if i buy the RD400, and plug it on PCI-e 2.0 , can it run on full speed?

Thanks!
