Awesome, thank you! That's what I have been looking for. I don't care about ports on the back of the case, I just want to power a good Front Panel card ready in my HTPC build using an old Alienware X58 express MOBO.

Looks like MSI has a board or is making a board that has native USB 3.1 front panel support.

MSI solution isn't official, it's someone having a crack at it, there's no real "header" standard yet, as far as I know.

My current board (Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero) has one USB 2.0, one USB 3.0, and one USB 3.1 motherboard connector.

Currently, my new SM8 front panel USB is only 50% active, I'd love to see a new front panel USB that had one connector for a pair of 3.0 and one connector for a pair of 3.1.

I'd be very interested in purchasing that front USB panel.
