Just finished building my dad a computer. It does not display anything on screen (no signal) and continuously beeps when turned on. Spent many hours trying to figure this out...

Three one second beeps says it's a memory problem, try each stick of ram individually.

I tried with no memory and one stick, same thing.

Have you tried clearing the cmos and removing the cmos battery, letting it sit for a few mins before putting it back in?
Any other sticks of ram to test with it?

That is almost always a memory problem.
Try different memory.

I have already tried removing cmos battery and shorting the cmos pad.

Unfortunately all other systems in house are on ddr3 mad.gif

Just got my new gigabyte board in (no more asrock for this build). Everything booting up good now!

So anyone can explain what was wrong with the asrock board? I have never had issue with mobo in 9 builds.

Ahhhh i was repacking the bad mobo for return, and bent some pins trying to put the stupid dust cover back on lol. I got mad and bent the **** out if it, screw returning it, im going to smash this board for all the hell it caused!
