Why people do this wink.gif
I've had both the 290x and 780 version of the lightning

I dont think it's a 480, but the PCB and power connections aren't the same as the 780 or 290x...
780:

290x:

the 6 pin is in a different spot, and the notch above the 6 pin is on neither of the above 2 cards...

980 ti:

and definitely not the 980 ti variant...

I have no idea.
Could be a guy with a 390X changing names in the driver to get the Radeon software to show that name, and he could be overclocking his 390X slightly

Best way to prove it would be to film his video card imo

For reference, this is my Fury 1Ghz/500Mhz at Firestrike Ultra:
A guy over on the AMD Discord who reads Chinese is saying that the leaker is claiming that 1080MHz is due to drivers setting wrong defaults.
Assuming that score is at 1080MHz, and the default is supposed to be 1266MHz, that's one kickass graphics card.

Of course, my skepticism is at max setting right now.

Lol if that card only run at 1080Mhz and its still faster than GTX980..imagine oc to 1400-1500mhz with AIB card

Curious, what's the difference between the old FS Extreme vs FS Ultra now?
