(Update) Yes, it is. Arrives next week to test the new Radeon (2x), we test with the end of the month, we do not have to wait ..

NDA gets up to 29.06, but it does not bother us - we did not sign any, not even the manufacturer who sends cards no sign did not, therefore, does not oblige us nothing. Next week will arrive two cards in CrossFire, which will test the taste immediately as they come. If everything goes according to plan, the test will be sometime between 20-24.6. Interesting news is that some Czech business cards they already have in stock next week and will just wait for the official start of sale, if somewhere you have known, you can take home a new Radeon should be as early as next weekend

I would not at all be surprised if this was planned by AMD just to take away some of the GTX 1070 and 1080's thunder. I also would not be surprised if the drivers for the RX 480 are not finalized, and therefore, it will be difficult to test the card without proper drivers.

Well thats certainly one way of getting reviews out before NDA ends if they think their plans for reviews was too late

Based on what info. Has ATi or AMD every leaked a product on purpose. Please give some examples. So you claim they leak it on purpose then say they won't have proper drivers for their leaked/planted product.

It will irritate proper review sites. If a review launches early on a site, it will get significantly more traffic and the rest get less. I have my doubts AMD would want to anger reviewers w/ something like this.

There will never be any official acknowledgements that this is AMDs work if it was..
They might go out and say its a tragedy it happened, but most likely they wont say a thing and let it go because there is nothing they can do

Good luck finding any evidence of that.
Im almost certain all companies do a controlled leak every now and then to get the hype rolling

Uh... who cares how review sites feel, they are at the mercy of manufacturers anyway, they don't have their own product other than talking about companies products.thumb.gif

Of course manufactures have to keep a good relationship w/ the reviewers and vice versa. Piss off a reviewer and chances are you'll get press. That is something AMD absolutely doesn't need.

AMD handed out actual cards to several review sites AT THE EVENT... theres no special treatment going on. You release before midnight UTC on the NDA date and you never get a free AMD device for review again. Sometimes nV will cut you off as well for breaking other company's NDA dates.
