[GH] The Division's Player Count Has Dropped 93% Since Launch - Page 3

Every ubisoft game ever, pritty on the outside but lacking inside. You get a few hours into it then realize it's very shallow. I did get a good few hours out of it, but it could be one of the most shallow bait and switch game in years.

This game was blah. Cover shooters never seem to hold up very well. This game had some loft goals and crapped the bed big time.

Its almost as if the population who plays these games jumped to the next new thing (Overwatch).

They move on fast

They move on fast because the titles range from terrible to forgettable. There are a number of examples of games that kept solid user bases for many, many years. Call of Duty 4, Guild Wars, Battlefront: Bad Company 2, World of Tanks, Warcraft 3 (which spawned DotA), etc. It's not that there are too many games to choose from, it's that the vast majority of multiplayer games right now are just not captivating and lack depth and replay value.

There is no end game content, its not surprising at all that people left and I fully expected them to, it was only a matter of time before someone reported on how much of the market left the game.

They already made enough from the pre-order crowd and initial sales. So I doubt they care, unless of course, they were planning on adding in micro transactions.

I just feel like after the hype.. people might just not bother with Overwatch, since you can play tf2 for free.

this wont happen but feel free to wait.

I got some good fun out of Far Cry 3. That's it when it comes to semi-recent releases, though. Got bored of FC4 about an hour or two in, then lost my save and never gave it a second thought of revisiting it.
