Evolve, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Battlefront, The Division, Rainbow Six Siege, etc. so many more. Simply impossible.
They move on fast
They move on fast because the titles range from terrible to forgettable. There are a number of examples of games that kept solid user bases for many, many years. Call of Duty 4, Guild Wars, Battlefront: Bad Company 2, World of Tanks, Warcraft 3 (which spawned DotA), etc. It's not that there are too many games to choose from, it's that the vast majority of multiplayer games right now are just not captivating and lack depth and replay value.
