Hi guys i am using ccc driver package 15.15.1004 and my eyefinity runs sweet no problems at all, now when i install radeon crimson 16.4.2 i lose my eyefinity setup ? Something in registry i guess but if i try make new display group all screens give me input not supported ? Windows screen shows all three screens in extended at 1920x 1080 with max res at 1920x1200 no option for 5760 x 1080 also not listed on graphic card listed modes . I can give more info as needed put pulling my hair out as everything works fine on ccc please any help maybe just me been old and stupid lol

My issue was don't change the refresh rate. It'll bug the eyeinfinty setting out. Another is if you have 144hz monitor it will only allow double screen not triple. So if u like triple screen eyeinfinity, u need 3 1080p @ 60hz. I once thought it be cool, since I had 3 monitors and they were on portrait mode to run them their horizontal refresh rate of 75hz (60 up and down, 75 side to side). Since I had them on portriat then one day I was on double screen for a bit tried putting them back to triple and I always black screen. Darnest thing, I had to switch GPU from another comptuer, but yet never put ur eyeinfinity in portrait mode in 75hz even if monitor supports it.

All 3 monitors are 1920x1080 and like i say it runs on old ccc but when i upgrade driver either in ccc or new install of crimson i get the not supported bs lol why is it so hard on amd ? Surely the new driver or crimson can keep my settings that work ?

I have 2x1080p 60hz + 1x1440p 144hz in eyefinity triple screen setup.

The side monitors (1080p) work at 60hz while the centre monitor (1440p) works at 144hz with freesync enabled.

Eyefinity is pretty good, you can do anything with all kinds of Frankenstein setups.

So frustrating all monitors are same 1920x1080 60hz
Middle monitor is hdmi to hdmi gpu
Two side monitors are hdmi to active diplay ports on gpu
So if i can get all screens on should i set window screen res to 1920x1080 and duplicate all ? Or try extending them all before going into crimson eyefinity setup ?

290X

I have two of them (crossfire).

Everything just works well. No issues. Before the first eyefinity setup, I think you should have all monitors connected but only one active.

Actually I formatted my pc 3 days ago and eyefinity was working at first try (like it always did for me).

1080P 60hz -> HDMI
1440P 144hz -> DP 1.2
1080P 60hz -> DVI to HDMI

no issues

The monitors should all be physically connected, but only one should be active in windows.

windows visualization should see all three monitors but only show one as active (one blue, the other two gray). Then you can run crimson eyefinity setup.

Before the first eyefinity setup, if you have any other monitor active in windows (extended), eyefinity will see it as reserved by windows and not available for setup.

This is on w10 should i uninstall crimson start over ? Is there any way to wipe registry ? Could it be hdmi to hdmi screwing something up ? Is there any way to use settings from my w7 working eyefinity registry and registry that ccc uses and is working ? I watched this looks so easy https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nJMvIvHsRXI
