That's what I was thinking, but that's when your 1080's in sli come into play tongue.gif and If they not going to support sli then the settings are going to be dialed down.

The physics are more of an issue than the need for more powerful hardware. It's pretty broken over 60 FPS in Fallout 4 and Skyrim.

Its not about getting over 60 frames, its more about the engine can't/doesn't like it, Things break, physics goes insane, etc. Back during Fallout 3, quests broke because of it.

You are talking about a hacked version of VR for Doom using VorpX that has no positional head tracking. Of course that will make you sick, lol. Comparing that and a game made for or re-worked for VR by a major dev is like comparing a Miata to a Ferrari. There is no comparison.

Maybe they've improved the game engine to handle over 60 fps?

Actually it's not until 100+ FPS where you run into problems (hyperspeed, getting stuck at terminals, etc.). I played through FO4 locked at 96 FPS to match my refresh rate and had no problems with physics. Not to say I always maintained that many FPS because, as you say, some places tank FPS. Nothing a little downgrading of graphics wouldn't fix though.

Hopefully they fix the high FPS physics bugs in their engines now, it's the entire reason I haven't played Skyrim yet.

Speaking of which, it was also said during an interview that PC owners of Skyrim+all DLC will get the new updated version for free.
Bethesda is turning into the best publisher ever.

That's what I imagine would have to happen for this to not be DOA. Hopefully they add over 60fps to current and future Bethesda games.

Seriously this. VR motions sickness isn't trivial. Plenty of people have been hit with 5-6 day spells of constant motion sickness from overdoing it.

They will need to be intelligent about how to tackle it, fully, you can't have games that have a chance of making even 5% of its player base ill. Having the power armour HUD would probably be enough to stop sickness, don't know what they'll have for when you're not in power armour.
