You're making progress, you could finally design a point, a valid point, for US Citizens at least. thumb.gif

Not in every country.

How come again that my 290X is worthless? Oh Yes! Because it beats down the 200$ more expensive 780Ti, therefore somehow making them both worthless.
You said the 780ti was worthless, I merely pointed out that, unless it was an AMD leaning game, the 290x was in the same ballpark as the 780ti. Ergo, if the 780ti's performance is worthless, the 290x is also worthless.

In closing, you are the one calling your own GPU worthless here. But please, keep trying to pin it on me somehow.

You will notice that ChevChelion is talking about both the 780ti AND the 290x, not just the 780ti. YOU were the one that referenced the 780ti.

it doesnt matter to me if the card does 25 fps or 35 fps

Considering the fact that the Nvidia card doing those "Worthless" FPS numbers costed people 700$ it should probably matter to you more than it does.

Now we know where the worthlessness came from.

All the back and forth lol.

In the end, to all the people who keep using theirs 290X and 780Ti 'till now, the 290X proves to be a much better investment based on the performance metrics.

Nice way to miss the point.

From 25 to 35 that's a 40% increase. That means no matter what the the second card will be always 40% faster.
