Well we can actually calculate how much more of a sucker (according to him) people who replace their GPU's every year are.

Xbox One released in 2013 and Project Scorpio is releasing in 2017...so if that is the standard bearer of being a sucker (according to him) then an individual who replaces their GPU would be 4x a sucker (according to him).

Math ftw thumb.gif

Oh yes it's all rumors lol

Or maybe they don't want to hand Sony the keys to the car for a 2nd straight generation smile.gif

Next generation will be interesting though because Sony controls literally 0 of the PC space and M$ is at least treading on that side of gaming.

Their "Play Anywhere" tagline was and is being well received.

Sony better figure that out or they will be left behind in an ever evolving industry.

But what am I talking about? It's all rumors rolleyes.gif

Hes not missing out on anything other than better gfx, which apparently console gamers dont care about as much. Games are backwards compatible.

Nobody is missing out on anything other than bragging rights.

That was kind of my point. Reduce a couple settings from ultra to high, tweak a few things that will help fps a bit at minimal fidelity loss, and there is your 4k 30fps console target utilizing 6 T Flops of AMD GPU power.

Folks keep talking about Nvidia GPU's and Polaris and Vega in regards to the 6 T Flop number thrown out when all that is unnecessary as we have an AMD GPU that fits the bill perfect that is well known in the 290X/390X GPU's to draw comparisons to.

Wild guess... Are people mistaking again this "4k-capable" bull talk with actually being able to play games at 2160?
Ok then...

What AMD card provides 320GB/s that fits their power envelope? G5X (2017 release?) ?
