does it matter though? people say 4GB is totally not enough and would cause your games to stutter like mad, so its still totally worthless. *sarcasm*

After the last patch for WOT. I can max it out with overclock Radeon 265, so 470 would be fine.

All right, can someone please explain to me the "eSports" thing? What's the angle? Why should they be falling over each other for an $80 GPU?

Are they poor?
Do they get their rigs stolen all the time?
Is there a limit to how much your GPU can cost?
Do they require that you run your PC off a battery?
Do you get extra money for winning under 60 frames per second?
Do fast GPUs not work with DX9 games?

Seriously. Why would "e-sports" be the lowest possible denominator in any GPU lineup? I would think you'd want the fastest possible rig.

Or is it, "the systems are provided by cheap hosting organizations, several hundred systems for a single event". Probably that, huh? It's not BYO like a LAN party, is it?

Chill, it just means it can run LoL, Smite, DOTA and HOTs lol

People going for these cards aren't the same kind of people like us who will play Battlefield 1 Maxed out at 1440p and high FPS, they are people who play 1 or 2 games at most, LoL, HOTs, Smite, and they want to improve their resolution or framerate.

They will see this card touted as an e-Sport card, that should work to catch their interest, as everyone who play those games knows at least two things:

1-) The enemy mother's bedroom
2-) that the game they're playing is an e-Sport

And e-Sport card sounds better than the alternative biggrin.gif

Games like Smite run at 100 FPS plus on a HD 7770 and 720p full maxed out, a RX 460 should destroy any MOBA at 1440p.

Because most Esports titles aren't very demanding graphically...has nothing to do with being cheap or whatever.

Most of the streamers who play these titles have very nice rigs.
