Windows 10 uTorrent BSOD

Torrenting seems to invariably cause BSOD. I'm using uTorrent but i've read the client doesn't matter. I have increased my virtual memory to 32gb, up from it's normal 2.

I don't know where to go from here. I'm a hardware person, not much of a software person. Can some kind soul help me get through 3 minutes of a torrent without a forced system restart?

What version of uTorrent are you using? I recommend using version 2.2.1 and not the latest one.

Uninstall it, reboot, install.

There are alot of fixes for this issue out there but I believe its was the one that worked using ver. 3.47
