Small form factor case?

So im looking to do a super small case instead of my 900D. I was looking at the Ncase and wondering if its worth it, or if there are comparable alternatives?

Those are just two M-ITX alternatives thumb.gif
Good luck with your build!

small for water cooling or air cooling? theres lots of choices that come in much cheaper than the case your looking at.

What type of performance do you need out of it?

The Hadron is pretty good except for the noisy PSU. Idle it's very quiet toss a wimpy GPU load on it such as a gtx 960 and it is very annoying. (I've had two)

My personal favorite of all time is the current one I'm using. The NZXT Manta looks iffy till you see it in person. This is a common thing with this model.

Also have a look into Raijintek. Their all aluminum itx and matx cases are really nice. I've used the matx solution and it sure is beautiful.

I recommend one that has a ATX or SFX PSU compatibility.

Ultimately what do you want out of it and what's going inside?

Essentially this will be a whole new build once these bleeding edge prices settle, ie something 1080ish equivalent maybe when the ti releases or classy. and possibly 2 storage drives and 1 ssd (if i dont go m.2) I just dont really want a big or "mid" tower any longer, been there done that I want something small and super powerful. Watercooling is a maybe (i kinda want to get away from water cooling since I want something less maintenance, though thermal problems will probably exist in a mini tower)

I had the same idea. I want something that had little to no maintenance, but still could pack a powerful rig that wouldn't overheat.

Lucky for us CPU's and GPU's are consuming less and less power as time goes on. The 500w in the Hardon will support that 1080i and a decent i5 or i7 with no issues. I'm sure it'll cool fine too.

Agreed. Im just kind of feeling the waters on whats possible at this time. I mean an alternative is a case bigger than the N Case, though i dont want something as big as say a prodigy. Maybe by the time things settle, there will be better cases that can support no thermal issues and everything we're looking for lol.

What does the Hadron not support for you? Not trying to get you to only look at that case, it just does everything I think you want

Hey! Seeing someone has already posted about this subject recently, I shall join in with my own question.

Im looking to build a proper gaming rig with 6600K, GTX 1070 and all the other goods. I'd prefer going aircooled all the way, but I guess a rad for the CPU won't hurt if it's needed. I've been in love with SFF builds, MATX and ITX, for a long while now. All I really have to do is make my mind up on a case.

I'm looking for a case which could hold a longer GPU since I'd like to go with a non-founders card, a case with proper airflow and capability to keep temperatures down (the most important to me!) and a case that preferably would have a window, but that's not necessary.

Also worth a mention is that I like the aluminium look cases that Jonsbo, Cooltek, EVGA etc. have provided, but I'm yet to be sold to one mostly because possible cooling issues. For example the Hadron which was mentioned earlier this thread seems like a sexy little case, but I'm hesitant.

Be sure to make your suggestions and if possible give info about the aspects I listed above.
