The AMD Shock & Awe is lovely! Wait until actual game benchmarks come, everyone is gonna be damn near shell shocked, especially the 6+8 pin 480 cards overclocked, reaching distance of 1070 level in some games. Dx12 games especially.

So much conflicting info idk what to believe.

It's kinda crazy how much hype this gpu has right now and AMD hasn't really had to do anything. Maybe the long nda wasn't such a bad idea IF it performs well. AMD have been particularly quiet, I've seen no crazy stuff from roy or anything. Lol

Not really conflicting, It looks like the boost clock is 1266 and it performs around a 980. The AIB boards with have double 6 or 8+6 pin and will probably have a higher base clock or allow us to get the clocks up for the people like myself that don't care about the TDP.

The benchmark from earlier today or yesterday that showed the score lower, was the card clocked at 1080 or was it found to be fake?

It was 1266 but as someone pointed out was using very old drivers. I'm expecting 390x to 980 stock performance, anything else is icing. I want to see what it can overclock though.

Thanks. I am not surprised now that someone pointed out that these benchmarks are using 16.2 drivers. These very old drivers seem to be a common theme in all these leaked benchmarks. The 470 and 480M benchmarks were also on 16.2, and the VR score was on 16.1.1.

Bios, driver version, OC in that order and until all is done early leaks is a toss up.
