I am considering buying a Samsung 950 pro, but I dont have M.2 slots on my current motherboard. Any reason to doubt that this one will work on my Asus motherboard http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/itemdetails/4XH0L08578/460/41E9A3C3FB5A45A9AC47C56812E4188C ?

I want something like https://tinkertry.com/how-to-install-a-2nd-samsung-950-pro-m2-nvme-on-superserver and the lenovo is dirt cheap (The nearest compitior is around 2.5x more expensive here in Denmark from what I can gather)

M.2 to PCIe is pretty much a pin-for-pin adapter with no controller chip. If it works in one it works in all. thumb.gif
