X99 Asus sabertooth motherboard voltage/boot problem

Thread Starter
I know this has been mentioned before in numerous threads... If i have anything else plugged into my motherboard excluding mouse and keyboard,, the computer will not boot to windows... And this does not have to do with USB only.. Because as soon as i turn off my speakers which isnt usb,, it magically boots up perfectly...

ASUS sabertooth mobo , 1901 build,, 3101 Latest bios

CPU 5960x

Dominator 3200 ram ,, 2 x 8gb sticks

980ti sli

h100i v2 cooler

1000w evga platinum PSU

This must a a hardware issue or some design flaw... After numerous bios updates by asus,, the problem still remains... Was wondering if anyone had a better work around??

In your bios, try playing with your USB support options in Boot menu, or try disabling some of the settings in the advanced USB menu. Not sure if it'll work, but its worth a shot.
