Some of you people... lol

Nvidia isn't gimping anything. If anything they just stop releasing optimizations for certain cards. Neither is right, but one is much worse than the other.

Not optimizing for cards IS gimping them on the NVIDIA side because all their GPU's are much more reliant on drivers. You guys accept so much hot iron up your rectums with a smile, i won't be surprised when NVIDIA starts locking software optimization behind a subscription.

Nvidia is gimping their older cards by not optimizing them for newer games. There fixed.

I remember when a high end GPU had a longer shelf life than 10-12 months. alas, it's a brave new world now Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
unless you own a 3 year old AMD card going strong like the energizer bunny

I have a 550ti..I can literally confirm they stop optimizing after a few years...No game after 2014 is playable at lowest settings 800x640. The card is bad, but it isn't that bad. Did a HD7870 vs GTX550ti test.

In optimized games Hd7870 is like 40% faster..In newer games? Hd7870 is 75%+ faster

Hey, you are back my friend. So for 4K surround, what does nVidia has to offer rightnow?

Maybe you are the wrong person to ask 'cause all your focus is to sell as many 1080s to our guests and members.

Note: We have a member here who's been doing this setup for over two years now.

No, gimping is purposely hindering performance on a card. Nvidia does that to AMD by using gimpworks. Again, not optimizing is not the same as gimping.

Also, you should know I give Nvidia and AMD crap before spouting your mouth off like you know me. Internet tough guy...lol
