It's obvious this card is going to be one of the most popular cards ever released unless nvidia can rush the 1060 out in the next month or 2.
I myself am more than willing to upgrade from a 290 to a 480 if performance, power draw, and temps are accurate. I would love a system that has a good 30% boost in performance, was far quieter and cooler.
you liked the reference 290's? I have one and boy are they loud and hot... It's part of the reason I'm thinking about getting a 480
I used to have 2 of them Lol. Funny thing is the sound, heat or power usage didn't even bother me. Sure when I first launch a game I'll hear the jet engines but after a minute or 10 I blocked it out and focused on the game. I know enough people who can't do that.
