NZXT Kraken Causing Heat??

Hey guys, so recently went from a:
3770k > 6700k
Antec Kuhler 620 > NZXT Kraken x31

Since upgrading, I've noticed that under gaming load, hot air will come from the top of my PC, and especially out of the radiator. I haven't done any over clocks.

However, With my 3770k build, i was able to play games for hours at a time and here wouldn't be ANY warm air coming from the top of the PC. It felt cool.

Temps seem fine, using RealBench stress test I maxed out at 62c and ambients are around 18.

Now why is this? Both the x31 and Antec Kuhler are both single fan 120m AIO coolers, I still have the exact same case with the exact same intake/outtake fans, and the PC is in the exact same spot.

Hell, I even purshased ANOTHER x31 because I thought my unit was faulty.

Thanks!

Well that's correct, there should be heat coming from the radiator... It's because the radiator is dissipating the heat from the CPU. If there was no heat coming from it, it'd be a problem as it'd mean that the radiator wasn't actually transferring any of the heat from the CPU.

....I already answered you. There's nothing to be concerned about, the fact your radiator is dissipating heat means that it's working. If your radiator wasn't producing any heat under CPU load, then you should be concerned.

It's bugging you that your radiator is dissipating heat from your CPU? It would be bugging you a lot more if it wasn't. rolleyes.gif
