Help with Rad setup

Im seeing a lot of setups with a full rad up top and bottom, im assumed they are pulling cold air from outside and dumping hot air into the case, im still just trying to get my head around that, what dose all that hot air do for the motherboard and ram? do i have to water cool them if i go this way?

I want a quite system, so plenty of RADs with low rmp fans is what im thinking, just trying to work out the best setup

what do you guys think of this?

anyone out there with RADS up top and bottom? how are your temps? is i quiet?

The air dumped inside your case by the rads is warmed up maybe 1 degree. It is less of an impact than the reverse. If you use already warmed case air to cool your rads it is less efficient.

that's not right most of the time. The air temp will change depending on the water temp but 4-10°c air temp change isn't uncommon, especially with low speed fans. If you get enough rad space you can get really low air-water Delta (mine is about 4c at full load) and then your maybe in the 1-2°c range air-air Delta.

I generally try to have all my rads exhausting with fresh air only as intake. So more like the second option.

Same here. My rads are typically on the top depending on the case of course, and I use front and bottom fans to pull in fresh air. That way the rad fans are pulling the fresh air entering the bottom across the mobo and memory and then up through the rads exhaust.

Exhausting warm case air out of your RADs will lower the efficiency of your cooling system. The cooler the air entering the RADs the greater the cooling efficiency. The greater the eff the slower you could run your fans. So long as you are moving air through the case you should not have to worry about MB or ram.
