[Paypal] Steam Summer Sale June 23rd to July 4th - Page 3

How do I file for bankrupcy?
It's pretty much the same games on sale every year, just with larger discounts cause they are older. It also doesn't help that publishers hose us over and make the GOTY/whatever editions cheaper than the base game with the DLC's. *cough*Bethesda*cough*. I know I haven't bought stuff in last few sales because all I need is the DLC for a game and it's 66% off while GOTY edition is 50% off and still cheaper than Steam sale base game+DLC's.

If I can't get JC3 at a decent price, Dying Light would be a nice consolation prize

Last year's monster game was fun. It was also the last time they had flash sales I think. I'm nearing 200 games, but still have about 13 on the wishlist.

I have something like 300 games and still have 120+ in my wish list.... Here's hoping some of the dlc as well as game of the year upgrades I want will be heavily discounted ^_^

Having bought Witcher 3 during the recent sale it had in May, I wonder if Witcher 3 Expansion Pass will go on sale. Have doubts since Blood and Wine is still very new, but who knows.

Other than that, half of my wishlist are games yet to be released or very new titles like Total War: Warhammer, so not much spending for me.

Also, I prefer new Steam Sales format of not having Daily/Flash sale - saves me time and suspense of thinking that the game I want to buy might get cheaper the next day.

Me 6 years ago: "I'll never buy games online. Physical copies forever!!!"
Me today: "I'll never be able to finish my Steam library in my lifetime"

I'm definitely more picky these days though. Unless it's in a $1 Humble Bundle, I won't buy random indies anymore 'just because they're cheap'. It's a combination of having way too many games already and all the crap Steam has been selling since Greenlight.

And like scorch062, I prefer the new Sale format because it's less stressful. But I must say it did get a bit boring because the exciting daily deals are gone.

Well, back when Humble Bundles were decent I wound up tripling the size of my Steam library (which is currently 335 games and 11 pieces of software). I've never purchased a game because it was cheap, I've only ever purchased games because I wanted to play them (or they were in a bundle that had enough games I felt justified the purchase). As for my wishlist, I suspect that while it does have 118 titles on it, I could probably reduce it's size by half fairly easily, since I already have a reasonable enough backlog of games, but maintaining one's wishlist is an exercise in frustration since it takes sooooo long to do anything within it.

What I meant was, I used to buy € 3 games that looked interesting to me, but I never got around to playing them because I had other more interesting games I wanted to play first. Six months later that same game was available in a € 1 humble bundle with 6 other games! mad.gif Lesson learned.

I have 200+ games on my wishlist, but I have no intention of buying them all. I put them there so I don't forget they exist!
