But the new G100s/G302/G303 is coming... thumb.gif It would be a great idea if Logitech fast tracks it before people start buying 3360 mice then have no reason to buy it.

I am wanting at least 1 more mouse before I quit buying them for many years.

hope i certainly have, though faith not so much.
maybe that probably-new-logitech mouse is gonna be something nice. seemed similar to the MX300 / G1 / G3, less round than the G100

Yea , and I think we all know that Logitech makes good mice , really good clicklatency , good firmware/implementations , mostly good build quality, good support/RMA , normally not "overpriced" ...
I liked the g303 , but it wwas too narrow in the backend , the "new" one looks really good ...

So basically you are saying, there is ONLY one GREAT mouse manufacturer and that is LOGITECH?

for me not the only one , but they didnt do most things wrong , except shape in the last years biggrin.gif
they need to bring everything they've got just in a simple well build shape ...

Well he adores the G900 as much as i enjoy a beautiful pull up jumper. Lol

I will be getting one. I know people out there dislike the 302/3 shape but i personally love the damn thing. I love to palm, but i claw the mouse naturally & have had a hard time putting it down to be honest with everyone. It's become my main. The new mouse may fix some issues plenty had with the 303/2 shape wise, while retaining what th mouse did so well.

I remember someone saying Logitech is ahead of most with stuff they do science wise as far as sensors, clicks(trying new stuff) & what not, however they have been using trash shapes this time around...i am loosely paraphrasing there but you get the jist of it.

My take is this, after the classic shapes they have had, many caught up with great shapes of their own. This time Logitech tried out of the box "alien" shapes as people say. Lol while using the same alien technology to Have absolute amazing clicks with the G900, G303 then the 3366. Now some companies are hopping on the pub version of the sensor & some trying good shapes with the sensor. Now Logitech can take what they did with the experiment time they used, take the good & throw it in more mice with some new or old type refreshed shapes. As well as fix some of the Experiment times shape(s) (such as the 303/2) thus improving it, because it had great things going for it.

Long post but basically they took chances in ways while holding ground still at the same time. Take chances, learn from the bad & good & improve things. Maybe they are starting with a refresh of the 303/2 & plan to bring back the science they love to talk about, while tossing it all in shells of much more simplicity.

Maybe they are listening. Just Maybe?

Until Nixeus comes out with their new mouse (which looks like it should be a really nice mouse), then yes.
Razer milked the Deathadder dry. The best deathadder was the V2 that could accept a red LED mod. The Diamondback Plasma / LE was "okay" if it didn't randomly develop the pixel skipping bug that the original Diamondback always had (Razer rushed the original DB, and gave it a beta sensor; later ones used the final one), as the bug would reappear on the plasma whenever it lost tracking strength on a surface (and I was the only one who apparently noticed it, on TWO LE's).

Not saying no one has ever released any good mouse but even the IE 3.0 explorer (the "legendary" MLT04") was NOT flawless! I HATED it because the buttons were TOO EASY to press!! I would always, always, always accidentally right click when playing Unreal Tournament because there was literally no resistance! I did much better with the intellimouse optical 1.1A as that had stronger click resistance.

But Razer was the only game in town besides Logitech's offerings. And Razer overstayed their welcome. And the G900 is sex. The G900 is love. The g900 is the best mouse ever made until now. And it's better than the G502 (no more tilting to the right !!!)

Idk about Razer milking the DA dry, it still sells like all hell. They have a move with it up both sleeves please believe that.

I would say that is somewhat fair. Steelseries, razer, and zowie are all mediocre IMO, corsair, asus, and CM are bad. I guess EVGA and FM are also mediocre though both have some fairly big problems and evga I'm mostly basing off the x5. There are a bunch of other random companies that are mediocre or bad, but Logitech is the only one I can think of that is consistently pretty good. It wouldn't be hard for others to make good mice, but they just don't.
