wrong, even stock FE 1070 is above stock 980Ti no matetr how long the usage is


it will only throttle if you OC the FE and dont increase the FE fans rpm

2048 maxwell cores = 2048 pascal cores.
1070 is a 980 class GPU.
High clocks are 16nm advantage. There's no real performance improvement there.
