As for the Polaris case, seeking alpha analysts were concerned that AMD will sell cards for 200$, personally i don't understand what's wrong with this high volume strategy.

Mark Hibben is an *Word you can't say here*, that's the problem.

redface.gif . I didn't even care. Thankfully.
I think what people don't understand is that AMD invests in these future AR interfaces and VR, but the server market, i think that will be the most important thing right now for the company.
And this is the only company that can do both.

Yep - anytime you hear a tip, what to do with the stock, rumors, etc etc etc = some one is already in the position to make money off you when you act on that information.. biggrin.gifwink.gifthumb.giftongue.gif

Stock is sitting at $5.20 at the moment (roughly double what it was this time last year). It hasn't been over $5 a share since June 2012. It's been slowing but steadily creeping up since September. Good for all those that bought when it was under $2 thumb.gif

Just in Google Finance for basic reference due to inability to make the trades desired at the time due to life and medical fees, I entered my intended investment amounts in AMD and Nvidia soon after each other in February (little time before Nvidia Q4 earnings I wanted to). Slightly annoyed at the six figure gains I missed out on! biggrin.gif Life and said medical costs are what was important however. Maybe not the life luxuries at the time on second thought compared.
