Judging by the gpuz screen, i feel like the board power on the reference may be hindering the potential though.
There was an aftermarket 1070 that only OC'd by 25MHz tongue.gif. Still, I'm in no way expecting even majority of cards to hit 1400MHz, though that would be great.

Also he must be playing with the fanspeed. I am not sure if the 88C MAX temp was with the 58% fan speed

A lot of these chinese leaks the cards are put in absolute garbage systems with no airflow. Idk how they get the cards so early but thats the chinese market for you. I would def take it with a grain of salt.

Sell your 1070 for more than a new one because there for sure will be some dumbo that can't find it it stock in a shop and will grab yours for $500 instead.
Then sell your second kidney and enjoy your 1080 if you can get one before your body fails.

Check the ambient temperatures in China right now and also it's a factory OCed card and the reference cooler is tiny, don't expect wonders from that tiny cooler when you run furmark on it...

150W on the reference one with a single 8-pin is kind of big, considering a huge die shrink and new arch. It'd place it on par with 1070 and only 36W below 1080.

True, I assumed that since the GPU-z picture was right after the 3DMark picture (and the temps match the 3DMark temps), that it was at 58%, but that doesn't have to be the case.

High temps, high humidity, high pollution what do you expect haha. Those cards are gonna run hot no matter what.

the 1070 isnt doing it, so you want a card thats about equal to 1070 ... ?

your only option is 1080 or SLI or wait Vega/1080Ti
