Advice on a new gaming build($1000-$1500) - Page 2

The CX550 is new and have nothing to do with the old CX which i already stated in my last post
Its not even group regulated like the old CX units are as the new ones are DC-DC

Check out the review for the multi rail version sold in the EU
http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=475

Voltage regulation is almost as good as the AXi series and the highest ripple under max load in the hot box is is 30mv

This is the old CX

This is the new CX
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139147&cm_re=CORSAIR_CX-M_series_CX550M-_-17-139-147-_-Product&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-VigLink-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=6146846&SID=ipodojr781000kb500053

They are easy to tell apart.

I have a 144hz monitor already and a G1 gaming 6 GB gigabyte geforce gtx 980Ti video card. I think that is still a good card and doesnt need to be upgraded, but i could be wrong, thanks in advance.

Is this a 144Hz 1080p panel or 1440p panel?
