Why does my FPS suck? - Page 3

Could this be related to their servers? Its speculation on my part but when i used to play wow i couldnt get 60fps steady even if i cranked my settings waaaay down low, seemed server related.

If you want a cheap 1440p, get a Yamasaki (or whatever) Catleap off ebay. Then OC the monitor. I have the Overlord version that isn't available anymore, and it works great. And no, you don't have to match 144fps = 144hz. You'll get the smoothest gameplay that way, but anything >60FPS will look better than on a 60Hz monitor. Keep in mind though, if you're gaming at 1080p and can't keep good fps, then there's NO WAY you're going to get good frames in 1440p. It's a lot more pixels and takes a lot more to push.
