Alright guys.

So now i'm running with the top off, and the temp is still climbing, but slower. After 15 minutes i'm up to 61C now.

Turns out they have 2 x 120mm's on the front. I added another one to help.

I also covered some of the top the best i could for right now.

Alright,

Another update. With the front back on, and the top still off it peaked at 64C after 30 minutes. The overwatch menu doesn't have v-sync, and just caps GPU usage at 99%, not once did it dip to 98%. Note this is at 1.199v on the GPU, and only 1254 Core (That's with boost). If you guys have any other suggestions that can help i'd appreciate it. I'm hoping that if i repaste this thing properly i'll knock 4C off. It did go up 2C after i botched the first paste job, and didn't reapply new paste.

Thanks for all the help!

PS: (CPU saw idle temps of 17C while the GPU saw idle temps as low as 28C. Ambient is about 22C i'd wager. Not sure how the CPU hit 17c)

Edit: It's been 4 minutes since i've closed overwatch and the GPU is still cooling off. Down to 35c.....

So if i got some Vardar's 1850 RPM ones, and ran them full speed would i cut another 5-7c from temps? Talking 5 vardars.

Thanks!

I would get GTs over Vardars every day of the week .. twice on Sundays. They have a long proven track record with few problems. either 1850rpm or 2150rpm will work very well.

No idea how much improvement you will get. Some for sure, but that's all I can say.

What are you testing with?

Water systems take time to heat and cool. Even more so with temperature regulated fan speed and possible pump speed. . Don't worry about it.

Why change fans? Your temps are fine now.

Could you try setting the top on on top of it's clips, then after running a test for 20 minutes, push the top down into clips and see if temps go any higher?

I agree i have three 1850 rpm GTs on my top 360 and even at 1000 rpm you can feel the fans pushing quite a bit of air out the front and backside of the top panel.

So how have you got it setup now? Front as intake, back as exhaust, and what about the top... exhaust or intake?

GPU temp is better but does 64c still seem warm for being underwater and at stock clock/volts? Hopefully reseating the block will help some. What kind of TIM do you have? I switched to gelid-gc-extreme and it made a noticeable difference on both the cpu (waterblock) and gpu (acx2 aircooler).

The front of the evolv case can be a little restrictive. Now that it's summer, I've been running mine with the front panel completely removed and set to the side. When its cooler, i leave the panel on with the bottom propped open a little...

Actually the top, and back are intake, and the front is exhaust. Thus why i left the top off. I just threw my magentic dust filter from my 750D over it, and called it a night (Night for the night shift workers )

I felt the tubes temperature wise, and the only one that was slightly warmer than room temperature, and i'm talking slightly, was the exhaust tube coming from the video card was not cool to the touch, but maybe a few degrees warmer than my hand. The rest of the tubing was cooler than my hand when touching it.

On a side note i thought they stopped making GT's or they were really hard to get. Guess i'll have to shop around for them.

But it looks like the front was setup as intake in these pics. Did you switch it around to exhaust instead?

I think it can be hard to get PWM variants of the GT. The noiseblocker eLoop is another good static pressure fan, fairly quiet, but pricey. Swiftech helix fans are a less pricey (but also not as good as gt/vardar/eloop).

The top in the Evolv is worse as intake than the front. The way you have it set up front is intake and top is exhaust (thats why you had to seal it so exhaust goes outside case when you have the cover.
By removing the cover you ruin the look of the case? So what was the point in getting it?

Rads is the XSPC EX240 by my guess from looking at. Without knowing exactly which rad it is, as OP don't know either.
Fans on front is SP120 from 750D and top is SP120 Retail.

It looks like @michael-ocn is correct. The front fans look like they are intake.

I'm sure he's not going to leave the top of the case off, its just to help diagnose the problem. Like doyll has pointed out, you can leave the top on, but not fully seated, and the gap added all around helps airflow a lot.

I, on the other hand, do leave the front of mine off when its warm. I like how it looks, it has a more "industrial" look.
