Zowie G-SR easily washable as other mousepads?

Thread Starter
I always washed my QCK by putting it into the shower and wash it with some shower gel.

Now I'm using a G-SR since a while and it looks pretty nasty so I wanna wash it like my QCK but I remember that someone here said his G-SR didnt survive the washing process.

I just wanna make sure that I dont ruin my pad before i wash it, can any G-SR owner share his washing-experience ?biggrin.gif

I think manual washing should be fine, but I didn't try yet. Machine washing might damage it.

I have no experience with that pad, but in general cloth pads are just that, a piece of fabric on a rubber backing. As long as you go easy on it (not too hot, no aggressive chemicals) it should always be ok.

For ripper you should only go with manual washing - soap, warm water, cloth towel. It isn't even stitched and frays well enough without any kind of cleaning.

Why do your mousepads get so dirty? I just lint roll mine every once in a while to get the dust off.

I don't even use chemicals. If the cloth is soft I just wet it with cold or lukewarm water and brush my hand over it

If it's rough I'll use a rag and lukewarm water, I'd personally never try a machine wash or aggressive chemicals.. but that's me.. good luck!
